Donald Lloyd Coberly was born February 7, 1936 in Moorhead, Iowa to Claude and Sarah Martha Taylor Coberly. He passed away in Belton, Missouri on May 17, 2013. He graduated from Osceola High School in 1954. Donald served in the United States Marine Reserves and worked as a meat cutter at Milgrams and Pricechopper. On April 4, 1964 he was united in marriage to Lola Mae Best in Peculiar, Missouri. Donald was a member of the Metro Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Sarah Taylor Coberly; 5 siblings, Edith, Eugene, Dorothy, Mary Jane and Erma. Donald is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lola Coberly; 2 sisters, Eleanor Hyde of Osceola, Missouri and Beulah Fredericks of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
