The funeral service of Mrs. J. W. Phillips will be held from the Christian church Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Lew C. Harris will officiate. The burial will be in Green Mountain cemetery. Oliver Blakley of Pueblo, a brother of the deceased, is here as are the following children of Mr. and Mrs. Phillips; Mrs. A. Burdick of New Raymer, Colo.; Mrs. Earl Sutter of Eckley, Colo.; Miss Mattie Phillips who is teaching school at Eckley. A son in Arizona will not be able to come. Miss Gladys, a 13-year-old daughter, who has been ill with the same disease, that caused her mother's death, seems a little better today. Mrs. Phillips was sick ten days, with a disease similar to typhoid but there was no typhoid germ.

Mrs. Waldo Brockway sang several selections with much feeling. The pallbearers were Alva Drummond, C. K. Woodland, T. J. Petty, L. C. Standish, George Curtis, Samuel Eaton. Interment was in Green Mountain cemetery.
