Diane L. Applegate, 55, of Imperial, formerly of Carroll Township, died Friday, October 15, 2011, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.

She was born March 24, 1956, in North Charleroi, a daughter of the late David R. and Eleanor M. Tekach Applegate.

Ms. Applegate was employed as a CME coordinator at Washington Hospital.

She was a member of St. Columbkille Church in Imperial.

Ms. Applegate was a 1974 graduate of Ringgold High School and a graduate of Wilma Boyd Career School in Pittsburgh.

She leaves behind her loving and devoted cats, Cleo and Cocoa.

Surviving are an aunt, Helen Applegate of Donora; first cousins Barry, Randy, Robert and Roger Applegate, Jan Paulette Wagner and Celeste and Marty Magash; and several other cousins.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in James A. Rabe Funeral Home Inc., 701 Thompson Avenue, Donora, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, with the Rev. Pierre Falkenhan officiating.
