Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Dec. 8, 1870, she was married in 1901 to Mr. Winter. She was a member of the Baptist Church and for many years was its corister and clerk. She interested herself in the activities of young men and women and taught them public speaking and debating.
Surviving are husband, three sons, Amos G., Jr. and William, both of Kingfield, and Wesley of New York City; a stepson, Earland of Kingfield; a sister Mrs. William Dubocq of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren, Christine and Muriel Winter of Kingfield.
