Frances was a 1947 graduate of Bakersfield High School. She was a member of the Celebration Christian Center, dedicating her life to the Lord in 1974.
Frances was a member of the Womens International Bowling Congress. She was an avid bowler starting in 1969, bowling at the Bakersfield Bowling Academy and Southwest Lanes.
Frances was survived by her husband of 41 years, Sylvester "Sam" Gary, mother Eleanor Earnshaw of Oildale, children Elaine R. Petrini, Sylvia Lynn Horner, and Michael Anthony Gary, all of Bakersfield, brother Robert Earnshaw of Oildale, sister Betty Schultz of St. George, Utah, grandchildren Chanda Elrod, Candace Gary and DeWayne Horner, and two great-grandchildren.
Frances was also survived by her son-in-law Loyd Franklin "Sonny" Horner (1938-2010), Find-A-Grave Memorial# 47020469.
