Ivai Ruth McCleery Ames "Will be Missed" Mom died peacefully of incidence of age just prior to her 81st birthday. She led a happy life and kept herself busy after dad died in 1974. She was very active in the arts and crafts and Board duties of the Sew 'N Sewers Club. Grandma "Bumps" also took great care of her youngest grandchild teaching her everything from baking cookies, playing cards, to hide 'n' seek. Mom was born to Daniel and Erma Broman McCleery on July 17, 1924 and is survived by her two daughters, Shirley and (Keith) Horton and Linda and (Steve) Lund. "G G" also has five caring grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sisters, Dorothea O'Rullian and Marge Madill, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Roy and Don McCleery. Graveside services will be held on Thurs., July 7, 2005 at 12 noon at the South Jordan City Cemetery, 10650 South 1055 West. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 6th from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, July 7th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street.
