He graduated Burlington High School in 1946 and served in the U.S. Army following graduation. Charlie worked as a service writer for C.H. Goss Company for 15 years. He worked his final job as General Manager for Maynard Auto Supply for 27 years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, woodworking, puzzles, feeding and observing small wildlife. Charlie had an exceptional way of providing love and laughter to any situation even in his last days. Charlie married his childhood sweetheart Betty Jane Munnett on July 3, 1948. They were married for 68 years.
