Mrs. Ralph Bromwell was organist. Bernice Rasmussen and Darlene Kludt sang "Beyond the Sunset" accompanied by Eunice Liedtke.
Pallbearers were Raymond and LeRoy Wahl, Robert Huether, Curtis, Lawrence and Lester Weber, all grandsons.
Arrangements were in charge of Eddy's funeral home of Jamestown. Internment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Wessington Springs.
Mrs. Elizabeth Wahl was born January 23, 1887 in Wahasha county, Minn., the daughter of George and Katherine Bolz, and died in her home at Jamestown, N. Dak., on June 15 at the age of 72 years.
She attended school in the vicinity of her birth and later moved to St. Paul where she married G. J. Albrecht. Mr. Albrecht died in 1926. One son, LeRoy was born to this union.
In November, 1927, she married John J. Wahl of Wessington Springs, where they lived until after his death in February, 1951. In 1955 Mrs. Wahl moved to Jamestown, where she has lived since.
Survivors include her son, LeRoy Albrecht, Jamestown, N. Dak.; five stepchildren: Mrs. Adolph Huether, Mrs. Emilie Hille, Mrs. Willie Weber and Roy Wahl, all of Wessington Springs; and Christ Wahl of Huron; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. One daughter, Mrs. Ben Weber died in 1957.
Mrs. Wahl was an active member of First baptist church of Wessington Springs and also a member of the Royal Neighors.
