Donald graduated high school in Waterford, Ct. and went on to serve in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.
He worked as a general foreman welder at Electric Boat. He then went on to drive for the Montville Board of Education.
He was a member of the Sons of Daughters of the American Revolution, VFW and the Montville Polish Club. He was an avid Red Sox, UCONN Huskies, and Patriots fan. He loved spending his summers in New Hampshire camping and fishing.
