Pauline Hasse, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, at the age of 91. She will be greatly missed and her memories will be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was born January 5, 1922 in Pontotoc to Earl and Stella Barton Moore. Pauline was a member of First Baptist Church in Mason. On August 1, 1941 Pauline married Derrell Flanagin in Fredonia. He preceded her in death in March of 1977. In 1978 she married Clarence Hasse and he preceded her in death in August of 2002. Pauline was also preceded in death by her parents and the following sisters: Grace Davis, Lois Simpson, Lucille Walker, Viola Buntyn and Dolly Ray McCarty.
Pauline is survived by her sister Earlene Eppler of Mason and many nieces and nephews and friends including Karla Eppler, Kurt and Camila Eppler, Kurran and Tana Eppler and Kyle Eppler.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mason with Rev. Chad Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Wagram Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Kurt Eppler, Kurran Eppler, Kyle Eppler, Matt Walker, Kirby Davis and W.G. McCormick.
