Mrs. Henry Bielenberg passed away early on Thursday morning, June 1, 1944, at her farm home, southwest of Hayfield, after an illness of only a few hours, although she had been ailing through the winter. The family retired about ten o'clock and she passed away at 1:45 a.m.
Her son, Stanley Bielenberg of Richmond, CA arrived home for a visit shortly before the sudden death of his mother, Mrs. Henry (Effie) Bielenberg. He is having a vacation from his duties as a welder foreman in the Kaiser shipyards at San Francisco and expects to return west in a day or two.
