Donna H. Wilson, 78 of Union, KY passed away with her family by her side on the 18th of May, 2013. Donna was born August 28, 1934 in Turners Station, Kentucky to the late Otha and Geneva Harmon Hopkins.
Donna was a graduate of Campbellsburg High School. She was a member Turners Station Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed spring and summer tending to her flower garden. There she grew beautiful flowers which drew many birds that she loved to watch. In her spare time she would watch westerns, especially ones that featured John Wayne.
Donna leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Sandra L. Lillard of Union, KY and a Grandson: Chase D. Lillard. A sister Velma Jo Brown and her husband Robert A. Brown of Turners Station, KY. Vicki Burchett of New Castle, whom she thought of as a daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Melvin L. Wilson of 52 years.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Ransdell Funeral Home. The service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Ransdell Funeral Home 7101 Campbellsburg Road Campbellsburg Kentucky 40011, with Reverend Carl Rucker officiating the service. Burial will be in Turners Station Cemetery, Turners Station, Kentucky.
