NORMA L. ATHERTON DIES AT
SISTERS' HOSPITAL FOLLOW-
ING INFLUENZA
Norms L. Atherton, nine-year-old
daughter of David and Lena Atherton
of Clayton, passed away at the St.
Joachim's hospital, this morning at S.
following a several month's illness.
The little girl was brought to the hospital
Monday, suffering from a congestion
of the lungs, caused by an attack
of influenza several months ago.
She was brought to the hospital for
the purpose of an operation, but her
condition was so serious upon her arrival
that the operation was not
deemed to be of any aid, as her life
could not be saved. The body will
be removed to her residence In Clayton
for funeral services and burial.
