Cuba--Marshall B. Clayson of 5832 W. Shore Road died Monday (May 15, 2000) in Olean General Hospital after a long illness. Born June 7, 1937, in Cuba, he was the son of Bert A. and Elizabeth Smith Clayson. He was a lifelong resident of Cuba. He had been employed by Norgas at the Cuba station and then by Meadow Brook Dairy Co. as a milk receiver. He retired in 1994 when the company relocated. Mr. Clayson enjoyed going out and meeting people and talking with his friends. Surviving are his mother; a brother, Robert F. Clayson; a sister, Eva (John) McCabe; two aunts; an uncle; five nieces; and three nephews. Friends will be received at the McIntosh Funeral Home (Nickolson Chapel), 24 Genesse Parkway, Cuba, on Thursday form 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. G. Curtis Conklin of Cuba will officiate. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.
