Mrs. Aughtman Passes Away
Aged Lady of Girard Answers Final Summonds - the Funeral today.
The death of Mrs. Susie Aughtman occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Richards, No. 708 First avenue, Girard, after on illness of three weeks. The deceased was about 70 years of age. She is survived by two children, Mrs. J.L. Richards, of Girard, and Mr. J.H. Aughtman, of Lee County. Their many friends deeply sympathize with them in their sad loss. The funeral took place from the residence this afternoon at 1 o'clock., the service being conducted by Rev. H. M. Long and the internment was in Hopewell cemetery, six miles west of the city.

Was 75 Years of Age - The Funeral This Afternoon.
Mrs. Susie Aughtman, aged 75 years, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J.L. Richards, No. 708 First street, Girard, after an illness of three weeks of la grippe. She is survived by two children, a son and a daughter, Mrs. J.L. Richards, of Girard and Mr. J. M. Aughtman of Lee County. They have the sympathy of their friends in their sad bereavement.
The funeral will take place from the residence this afternoon at 1 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev. H.M. Long of Phenix City. Internment will be in Hopeful churchyard, six miles west of the city.
