Ellison Walker Niblett was the twin brother of Ellis Burns Niblett, Sr, the son of Abel & Frances (Robeson) Niblett. He was born in March 1830 and is thought to have died in 1903. Ellison married Emerintha Sims Jan 11, 1855 in Troup County, GA. They were the parents of at least three children; Emily Caroline "Carrie" Niblett; David Ida Niblett & James K. Niblett.

Ellison "Walker" Niblett was a soldier in the Civil War; Company F, 3rd Battalion, Hilliard's Legion, Alabama Volunteers. His rank was Private both at induction and discharge.

"Was 72 Years Old"

Mr. Walker Niblett Died at his Home West of the City Yesterday.

Mr. Walker Niblett, aged 72 years, died at his home, seven miles west of the city, at noon yesterday, after an illness of fifteen days of pneumonia.
He is survived by one son, Mr. D. C. Niblett, of Girard.
The funeral will take place this morning at 11 o'clock from the home, conducted by Rev. William Hooks. The interment will be at Hopeful Burying grounds, near his home
