Mollie Marie Dawson 76, of Beckley went home to be with the Lord, Sunday May 5, 2013, following a long illness.
Born September 6, 1936 in McDowell County she was the daughter of the late Walter and Iva Mae Colley Lambert.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband Eugene Dawson, and 7 brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters Sue Nelson, and Genia Acord, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren, her brother Ray Lambert, and her 2 sisters Maxine Bowles, and Charolette Murphy Huffman, and a host of nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
Services will be held Thursday May 9, 2013 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sophia with the Rev. Danny Bowles officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Hot Coal Cemetery.
Friends may gather with the family from 1pm until service time Thursday at the Funeral Home.
