Everett was born August 20, 1916 in Tyler County, W.Va., the son of the late Thomas I. and Olive M. Carpenter Clark.
He was a retired employee of PPG Industries of Natrium, W.Va.; a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ of New Martinsville; a decorated World War II US Army veteran; a member of Wetzel Lodge No. 39 A.F & A.M. of New Martinsville; American Legion Post No. 86 of Paden City; and a member of Martha Washington OES Chapter No. 22 of Sistersville.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Iva V. Clark; daughter, Sondra Campbell and her husband, Oscar, all of Sarasota; two grandsons, Aaron C. Campbell of Lakeland, Fla. and Chad E. Campbell of Parrish, Fla.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2005 at the Jarvis Funeral Home, Paden City, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday with Evangelist Charles Pugh officiating.
Interment in Paden Memorial Gardens, Paden City.
Martha Washington O.E.S. Chapter No. 22 of Sistersville will hold services at the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m.
Wetzel Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M. will be honorary pallbearers and conduct Masonic services at graveside.
Full military services will be conducted at graveside by the American Legion Posts of Paden City, Sistersville and New Martinsville and the VFW Posts of Sistersville and New Martinsville.
