Death Claims Miss Ray, 79
Rites Friday For County Resident
Miss Minervia(Ellie)Ray, 79, of Flat Rock, died today at 4:00 a.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs. Wilbur(Lessie)Middleton of Flat Rock.
Burial will be at the Flat Rock Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
Born Sept. 9, 1883, in Bartholomew County, she was the daughter of Preston and Minervia(Wasson)Ray.
Surviving besides the sister are two half-sisters, Mrs. Sarah Brown of Flat Rock and Mrs. Ruby Fowler of Indianapolis, a half-brother, Wallace Ray of Hope and the step-mother, Mrs. Mary Ray of Indianapolis.
