LYDIA WIERMAN--14th of second month, 1882, in Columbia, Lancaster county, after a brief illness, Lydia Wierman, in the 89th year of her age. She was the daughter of William and Hannah Wierman and the last of their family of eleven children. The Wierman ancestor was one of the first settlers of Adams, then York County, He being a German and his wife a Hollander. The subject of this sketch was a first cousin of the Hon. I. E. Wierman, of York Springs District. She was interred in the Lampeter Friend's Burying Ground, at Bird in-Hand , Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (SS)
