Benjamin "Benny" McCalister Jones Jr. III, age 64, of Heber Springs, left this life for his new one in Heaven on Friday, May 17, 2013. He was born May 12, 1949 in Pine Bluff, a son of late B. M. Jones II and Emerlene Jones Gibbs. Mr. Jones was the owner and operator of Swinging Bridge Resort in Heber Springs. He was a life time member of Girls Scouts of America and the National Rifle Association. Mr. Jones was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman and a big NASCAR fan. He was a loving and giving person that loved his family. He treasured meeting and visiting with people from different countries and states at the resort. Mr. Jones was a member of First Assembly of God of Heber Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, B.M. Jones and Emerlene Jones Gibbs; grandparents, Burless and Zera Boldon.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Kay Hunter Jones of Heber Springs, whom he married on August 1, 1991; son, Neal Shinn and Jackie Durand of Vilonia; daughters, Lesley Russaw and Dwayne of Conway, Cristie McCarroll and Danny of Jefferson, Toni Peyton and Dennis Roshto of Pineville, Louisiana, Jamie Storey and Chris of Anniston, Alabama, Carrie Jones of White Hall; sisters, Barbara Fort and Bill of Ozark, Brenda Wigington and Joe of North Little Rock; thirteen grandchildren.
