David C. Armbruster, 68, of Champaign passed away at 4:59 a.m. Thursday (May 16, 2013) at his home.
He was born April 7, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. He married Rosemary Howard in Springfield on Sept. 25, 1965. She survives.
He is also survived by one son, Donald (Dana) Armbruster; one daughter, Stephanie (Dennis) Eddy; grandchildren, Jenna, Madison, Wesley David, Payton, Paige, and Dakotah David and a sister, Donna Lewis.
He was a police officer for the City of Champaign for 27 years. He served in the U.S. Army.
