RIGBY, ID - Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Ballantye, 94, who died Wednesday evening at her home in Rigby, will be conducted Sunday at 2 pm in the Eckersell Funeral chapel in Rigby by Bishop Henry Pieper of the Rigby First Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Burial will be in Rigby Pioneer cemetery.

Mrs. Ballantyne was born Sept. 26, 1856, a daughter of Josiah M. and Martha Ann Bronson Ferrin. Her husband, Zachariah Ballantyne, and two sons, William and Heber G. Ballantyne, preceded her in death. Surviving are one brother, George Ferrin, Burley; the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Altha B. Zinn, Ogden, Utah; Mrs. Jane Gibson, Roberts; Mrs. Eva B. Green, Ogden; Josephine Stephens, Ogden; Mrs. Mary B. Kinghorn, Rigby; Abraham Ballantyne, San Bruno, Calif.; Z.S. Ballantyne, Long Beach, Calif; Edward J. Ballantyne, Long Beach; Junius Ballantyne, Oakland, Calif; 44 grandchildren, 81 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
