Mr. Blauvelt worked for Eastern Slope Inn in North Conway, NH for many years. He was a member of the Madison Church in Madison, NH and the North Conway Model Railroad Club, and enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth (Blauvelt)Cookinham, he leaves his wife, Marie (Gordon) Blauvelt of Madison; a daughter, Nancy Robinson of Holland Penn.; two brothers, Hollis "Skippy" Blauvlet and his partner, Rose Thurber of Medford, MA, and James M. and his wife Susan Blauvelt, of Billerica, MA,; a granddaughter, Skye Robinson; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on May 28, 2005 at the Madison Church in MAdison, NH.
