Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Macy and Son for Kathleen Bird Cummins with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park. Mrs. Cummins died June 19 in a McMinnville hospital.
Kathleen B. Cummins, daughter of Robert and Mary Alderman Bird, was born April 9, 1882, at Lafayette. She was reared and schooled in Lafayette and McMinnville and attended Linfield College. She was married Nov. 17, 1909, at McMinnville to E.E. Cummins who preceded her in death in 1926. Prior to her marriage and following her husband's death, she had worked as a legal stenographer for various McMinnville law firms. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, Knowles Chapter, the Sacajawea Club, and the Self Improvement Club.
She is survived by a son, Elliott Cummins of McMinnville; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Sears of McMinnville, and Mrs. Kathleen Petersen of Helix; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
