Amanda E. Bandt, age 96, of Wautoma, passed away Monday evening, May 17, 2004, at the Wild Rose Manor.

She was born January 27, 1908 in Rosendale, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Kilbride) Erdman. She married Elmer A. Bandt on August 16, 1930 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1990. She and her late husband resided in Milwaukee before moving to Wautoma in 1947.

She was employed at the former Ben Franklin Store in Wautoma and also was a cook at Dafoe School. Amanda worked part time at the Waushara Argus for 16 years.

She is survived by one sister, Eunice (George) Baker, Adams; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Erdman, Milwaukee, Gertrude Bandt, Wautoma. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Mary Schaff, Irene Brown, Elsie Ammerman and Alma Johnson; three brothers, John Erdman, Henry Erdman, and her twin, Leo Erdman.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 21, 2004 at 11a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma with the Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. Burial will be in the Wautoma Union Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the Church from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Leikness Funeral Home Wautoma (920) 787-3746
