He was born October 4, 1922 in Saline County, AR.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator, U. S. Navy Veteran of WW II and a Christian.
He was the son of the late Jesse Arey and Lula Thomas Arey and was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Glen Arey, one daughter, Francis Jean Newman, one granddaughter, Jamie Waggoner, the mother of his children, Dot Rial Arey, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors include one son, James Arey of Monticello; two daughters, Robbie Baker and husband, Marvin and Jessie Farmer and husband, Terry, all of Monticello; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Loraine Arey of Spring Hill, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
