Richard Stallcup, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Albany, Louisiana.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Larry Cox officiating.

Burial will follow at Vashti Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 til' 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the White Family Funeral Home.

Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.

Richard was born April 9, 1936 to Carl and Irene (Williamson) Stallcup in Grants Pass, Oregon. He graduated high school in Wichita Falls, Texas in 1955, and served in the United States National Guard and Army. Richard worked for Convair Aircraft Company where he built B-58 planes and for FAA for 32 years until his retirement. He also worked at Thermon's Auto Electric in Bowie, Texas. Richard married Barbara Bujard on January 5, 1981 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid sports fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Irene Stallcup; sister, Frances Stallcup; two brothers, Carl and Ralph Stallcup.

Richard is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara Stallcup of Montague; son, Gary Alan Stallcup and wife, Barbara of Montague; daughter, Jill Ellen Brumley and husband, Robbie of Keller; brother, Craig Stallcup and wife, Alice Ann of Wichita Falls; five step-children, Bernard Bujard and wife, Maria of Uvalde, Stanton Bujard and wife, Missy of Youngsville, LA, Angela Bujard, Annette Bujard, Stephen Bujard and wife, Erica all of Lafayette, LA; fifteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
