WINSTON-SALEM - Alice Godwin Mitchell Marshall, a native and resident of Winston-Salem, born November 23, 1960, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011. Alice was the most loving, caring wife, mother, daughter, sibling, and friend. Alice is survived by her adoring husband Charles Andrew Marshall III (Drew), daughter Isabelle Rebecca Marshall, father William H. Mitchell, brother Robert H. Mitchell, sister Margaret R. Mitchell. Alice was preceded in death by her mother Betty G. Mitchell. She is and will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her. A gathering for family and close friends will be held at the home of William H. Mitchell on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Center, 231 Melrose St., Winston-Salem N.C. 27103.
