A nine-year-old lad named Carroll Allen was crushed to death by a big flywheel falling on him.

At Madison the other day while boys were playing in Henry's boiler yard, an immense fly wheel fell on Carroll Allen, aged nine years, crushing his head and neck. He died that afternoon from the injuries received. His father fell from a telephone pole about a year ago and was killed.
