Vern Craig, retired farmer living near Portageville, died of urenia at the home of his son, Ray Craig, in Portageville, on Monday, January 12.
Funeral services were held at the Dry Bayou church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Pat Hayden officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti, with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.
Mr. Craig was born July 19, 1879, at Greenville, Ky. and was 68 years, 5 months and 23 days old.
Survivors include three sons, Loyd and Howard Craig who live on Route 2 near Portageville and Ray, of that city; and one daughter, Mrs. Uretha Ridenhour, of Jefferson City, Mo.
