Wisconsin Rapids | The Daily Tribune | 1970-12-14 Fred Edward King, 83, Grand Marsh, died Saturday at his home. Cause of death was a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Marsh Congregational Church, with the Rev. Glenn Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Coloma.
Mr. King was born Aug. 8, 1887, in Shields township, Marquette County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius King, and married Matilda Rosnau Sept. 18, 1912, in Winthrop, Minn. She preceded him in death, along with one son. He worked as a harness maker, a farmer and later operated Grand Marsh Produce Co. until his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Jule, Grand Marsh; two brothers, Rev. William King, Westfield and Ted King, Princeton, and one sister, Mrs. Rudolph Sonnenberg, Westfield.
