Lucy Mae Elkins, 66, of Piggott, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, in the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
She was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Pollard, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Edith Ann Brown Elkins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Shelly Odell Elkins and Norman Elkins; and one sister, Zora Sullivan.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Belle Johnson of Pollard; two sisters-in-law, Linda Elkins of Pollard and Alma Elkins of Piggott; an aunt, Bessie Russell of Pheonix, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; great and great-great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Loy Culver officiating.
Burial will be Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard. Pallbearers were Charles Noles, Honus Wagner, Kevin Johnson, Christopher Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Kalon Johnson.
