PLAN MATHERS FUNERAL RITES

Resident of Rudd Succumbs at 49; Services Wednesday

RUDD-- Funeral services for Warren H Mathers, 49, will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church, with the Rev. S.J. Baldwin in charge. Mathers died at Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City of heart disease Monday morning.

He formerly resided at Floyd, Rockford, Mason City, and Waseca, Minn. In Mason city he was employed by a processing firm.

He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter and one son.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Arlene Rathun of Waterloo, Mrs. Lois Burzette, Mrs. Clarence Matte and Beverly, of Rudd; one son Don of Lewiston, Minn.; three grandchildren, one brother, Frank, of Rockford, and one sister, Mrs. Jesse Marrs, of Rockford.

FUNERAL HELD FOR MATHERS

Rites Conducted in Methodist Church for Rudd Resident

RUDD--Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church for Warren H. Mathers with the Rev. S.J. Baldwin in charge.

Paul Stalker sang with Mrs. I.W. Edie at the piano. Pallbearers were Glen Kingsbury, Harry Schrader, Will Hodge, Frank Birkholz, Charles Ell and Jack Kamm.

Mr. Mathers is survived by four daughters, Mrs.Arlene Rathjen of Waterloo, Mrs. Lois Burzette, Mrs. Virginia Matte and Beverly all of Rudd and one son, Donald of Lewiston , Minn. A brother Frank, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Marrs of Rockford and three grandsons of Rudd also survive.

He formerly lived in Mason City and was employed by a processing company.
