LA CROSSE TRIBUNE AND LEADER-PRESS, La Crosse, Wisconsin, Saturday, February 7, 1920, Page 5: Manager of Home Hospital Is Called Suddenly By Death
Waukon, Iowa, Feb. 7 - Mr. Jasper Wayne, 65, manager of the Home hospital of this city, died suddenly from an attack of heart trouble at 9 o'clock this morning.
Mr. Wayne came here a few years ago from West Union, where he was owner of the West Union hospital for some time. He was president of the Nurses Medical Benevolent Association and as such was manager of the hospital here. His wife, to whom he was married only two years ago, and a baby daughter survive him; also an older daughter, Phinette, by a former marriage. Burial will take place here, that being deceased's expressed wish.
