Lorna Waite Alexander, age 81, of Gulf Shores and Waunakee, died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 10, 2011. She was born March 21, 1929 in Angola, Ind. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Robert Alexander on June 26, 1949, in Angola.
She is survived by three daughters, Lauren Frampton (Michael) of Belton, Texas, Bobbie Matousek (Cliff) of Clarkston, Wash., Julia Isola (Ron) of Verona, Wis; and two sons, Steve (Marla) of Waunakee and Andrew (Abby) of Verona; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers Butch (Sue) of Angola and Carlton (Nancy) of Indianapolis, Ind. She was preceded in death by her husband.
She cherished her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. Lorna's favorite pastime was playing Bridge. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee. Lorna was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend and will be truly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Mother's Day, May 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church of Waunakee Chapel.
