his wife Fanny F. Bardwell
(the daughter of Consider Bardwell,
and his wife Anna Benjamin).

("about" 1852).
They had a daughter Addie Bliss
(born 1857 in Buchanan, MI),
who married John G. Scobey.

Laura Bliss living in
Buchanan township, near Buchanan,
Berrien County Michigan, with
"Adda" (Addie) Bliss, born 1857,
and "F. W. J. Bliss", born about 1860.

Note: There is a Frank Bliss, listed
in the burials in the very first "public"
cemetery in McCoy's Creek (now known as
Buchanan, Michigan (now
known as the "Kathryn Park Cemetery"),
as the son of S. and L. Bliss, who is
buried there along with Sidney's
16-year-old sister Mary Bliss.

The 1870 census shows Sidney Bliss
and his wife Laura, living in
New York State, with their
daughter Addie (age 13),
(but son Frank, who would have
been age 10, is not listed).

Sidney died at the age of
87 years, 7 months, and 11 days
(per death record).

He worked as a carpenter in
Syracuse, New York, and then,
as a Railroad flagman for the
St. Paul Railroad, in Chicago,
Illinois (in 1902, per his
brother's obituary).
