Ormsby, who for many years was postmaster in the old Chico post office, passed away at his home in Modesto, according to word received here yesterday. Ormsby was past 70 years and had not been a resident of this city for more than 20 years. His body will arrive in this city today and the funeral services will be held from the Fetters & Williams chapel Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Masons will conduct the services and Dr. A.E. Osborne will officiate.
