Earl B. Cross of Brownsburg died Sunday at the age of 86.

Mr. Cross was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran, stationed with the Flying Tigers in China during World War II. He worked 33 years as a statistician analyst for Allisons.

He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Cross of Brownsburg; daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen Cross, Mary Ellen and Craig Stephenson, Helen and Stephen James, Monica and Jeff Kubick, Rita and Jim Miller, and Margaret and Paul Cornwell; a daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Cross; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Karen Cross, and Joseph and Julie Cross; a sister-in-law, Tula Mae Cross; grandchildren Mike, Chris, Dan, Adrianna, Becca, D`Arcy, Patrick, Courtney, Megan, Darren, Tom, Jason, Stephanie, Vincent, Emily and Ailish; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were sisters Hazel Gordanier and Flossie Gearries; a twin brother, Merle Cross; another brother, Ralph Cross; and a son, Michael Cross.

Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Malachy Church. Interment will be at St. Malachy Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Matthews Mortuary in Brownsburg.

Memorials may be made to the St. Malachy Building Fund.
