He was born in Cincinnati to the late Edward Anderson and Mae (Hill) Anderson Chandler. He was a graduate of Marion High School and Indiana Business College. He retired from Foster Forbes. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his sister, Marie Prickett, St. Cloud, Fla.; brothers, Murrell (Oneida) Anderson, Waldron, and Earl C. (Lillian) Anderson, Greensburg; sister-in-laws, Doris Cornett, Amboy, and Pat Bussard, Marion; his dog, Sparky; 12 nieces; 10 nephews; and 44 great-nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by brothers, Bennie Cornett, Robert Anderson and Maurice Anderson; two nieces, Mary Ann Percy and Terry L. Anderson; and a great nephew, Hayden Pavey.
