However, death date listed is from Mrs. Gambill's death certificate (for search purposes), and does not agree with month and day of tombstone transcription. Please see "Inscription".

Information also used from Mrs. Gambill's death certificate is the spelling of her name, that she would be buried in Lavergne, and that her parents were Henry G. Williamson and Lucy Shacklett. Informant was B. S. Gambill.

Annie Williamson married Charles Hill Gambill on 7 Dec 1870 in Rutherford County, TN. (Historic Cane Ridge and Its Families, Lillian Brown Johnson, 1973)

Mrs. Gambill is buried in the Sanford Cemetery next to a small marker assumed to be that of her step-mother/aunt, Fannie Shacklett Williamson. Adjacent to the stone is that of Mrs. Gambill's father, Henry G. Williamson.
