Sulphur- Shella M. Linscomb, 76, passed away in a hospital in Houma, Friday, May 10, 2013.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in Our Lady of LaSalette, Sulphur on Monday, May 13, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Father James Winiarski officiating. Burial will follow in Farquhar Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation begins Monday at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. with a rosary at 12:30 p.m. all in the church.
Shella was born in Kaplan, LA to Clorse Ancelet and Annies (Landry) Ancelet on December 20, 1936. She worked for Kelly's Big Star in Sulphur for many years. Shella lived most of her life in Sulphur.
Shella is survived by her brother, Harvey Ancelet of Sulphur; nephews, Harvey Ancelet, Jr. and Chad Ancelet, both of Sulphur; nieces, Vicky Daigle, Beverly Nolen and Anna Trahan, all of Sulphur and many great nieces and nephews.
