This person is the son of Enoch Sargent (my third great grandfather) and Pruda Bacon (my third great grandmother). He was born in Vermont. He was the son of a War of 1812 Veteran. His father had a first marriage, before he met and married his mother. He was a farmer. In 1840, he married Amy Negus (my second great grandmother)in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Together they had 4 boys and 4 Girls. In 1870, Enoch (my second great grandfather) moved with his sons (Junia and Simeon)out to Hurley, Turner, Dakota Territory. There he lived the rest of his life with his son Junia (my great grandfather), wife Ida (my great grandmother), and Grandsons, Glenni (my great uncle) and Jean (my grandfather). He is buried with his grandson Leslie (my great uncle).
