Charleston - Services will be conducted here Tuesday for Albert J. Bowles, 75 years old, of Charleston. Mr. Bowles died Saturday in a Cape Girardeau hospital.
He was born Sept. 9, 1888 in Hagerstown, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bowles. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and was a retired painter.
The funeral will be held at the church and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery here.
Mr. Bowles is survived by his wife, Virginia and a son, Jay; a daughter Mrs. Evaduah Crow; a brother, Joe Bowles; a sister Mrs. Nell White; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
