Ms. Annie Lee Knighton (Big Gal)is the 12th child and daughter of Sidney and Mamie Ward Knighton. She has three daughters - Nickey, Win and Pam. Two Son-in-laws - John and Bennie. Three Grandchildren - Antrell, Breanna and Tre'. She is cofounder of the community uplift project, SHAPE (Self-esteem, Harmony, Awareness, Pride and Education). The Annie Lee Knighton Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually by the organization that she founded in 1990 along with her daughter, Nickey. Big Gal is a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend that was a blessing to her family, her friends and her community. She near met a stranger. Her remaining siblings are Coley, Pinkie and Claude (Bay). Her physical presence is truly missed, but her wonderful spirit and everlasting love remains with her family members all the time.
