Christine Cook of Frankenmuth, Michigan, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth, after a courageous battle with cancer; age 57 years. Christine Abraham was born on March 4, 1956. She was married to James E. Cook on March 12, 1993; he preceded her in death on May 22, 2010. Christine was the owner of Miss Christine's Dance Directions for over 30 years. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and loved gardening, music, and her dance students.
Surviving are her daughters, Erika (Keith) Morris of Holt, MI, and Elissa (Kyle) Griffin of Baytown, TX; mother, Ruth Abraham Baker of Frankenmuth, MI; sister, Ruth (Richard) Montcalm of Monroe, MI; step-children, Jeffrey(Bridget) Cook, Jason (Rebecca) Cook, Jessica (Mike) Cronk; 5 grandchildren, Benjamin and Kathryn Morris, Savannah Cronk, Elaine Cook, Maeceo Cook and many nieces and nephews.
Christine was preceded in death by her father, Harold Abraham; brother, Timothy Abraham; and sister, Mary Scott Snead.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St., Frankenmuth, MI; Fr. Robert Byrne will officiate. Christine's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth; 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 1:00 P.M. to 8 P.M. and at church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
