L. E. BUCHANAN
Leonard Ethelbert Buchanan, 81, of Frazeysburg, died Saturday afternoon at the Bethesda hospital where he had been a patient since Monday. He had been in ill health for three years.
Mr. Buchanan was a retired coal miner and was born March 21, 1873 at New Lexington, the son of Thomas Jefferson and Hannah Frield Buchanan.
His wife, Salome Brown Buchanan, died in 1923.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Miller of Frazeysburg; a son, Russell L. Buchanan, Glenford Route 1; and three granddaughters. Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Baughman funeral home at Frazeysburg with Rev. W. H. Koppert officiating. Burial will be in the Crooksville cemetery.
The body will remain at the funeral home where friends may call Sunday evening.
