Obituary for Patricia Alleman

Rayne—Funeral services for Patricia Marie Alleman, 72, will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in Duhon Funeral Home Chapel, Rayne, LA. Father Kendal Faulk will officiate. Interment will follow in Evangeline Memorial Gardens, Carencro.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., with a rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. in Duhon Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 A.M. until service time in the funeral home.

Ms. Alleman passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in a Lafayette hospital.

A native of Mire, Ms. Alleman lived in Carencro for many years before relocating to Rayne about 20 years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Ms. Alleman enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and going to the casinos. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with and caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Stires of Carencro, and Becky Legere and husband, Kerney of Crencro; son, Michael Babineaux and wife, Christine of Carencro; sister, Judy Alleman of Rayne; brothers, Merlin Alleman and wife, Della Mae of Rayne, Clifton Alleman of Rayne, and Gabe Alleman and wife, Burnella of Rayne; grandchildren, Shane Stires and wife, Robin of Carencro, Shannon Stires of Carencro, Shea Stires and fiancé, Tamara Wilson of Carencro, Michelle Jeanminette and husband, Casey of Carencro, Aimiee Babineaux of Carencro, and Eric Babineaux of Carencro; great-grandchildren, Jace Stires, Caleigh Stires, Cale Stires, and Colin Jeanminette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Preceding Ms. Alleman in death were her parents,Ulyesee and Josette Broussard Alleman; son-in-law, Steve Stires; brothers, Elie Alleman, Leroy Alleman, Kermit Alleman, and Ernest Alleman; and uncle, Oris Cormier.

Serving as pallbearers are Shane Stires, Shea Stires, Bryan Alleman, Brent Leger, Troy Alleman, and Austin Broussard.
