Cavalry. He lived in Coleman Co, TX until 1889 when he
moved to Chaves Co, NM, where he served as a lawyer and
a judge. He was very active and the adjutant of the
Val Verde Camp 1419, United Confederate Veterans in
Roswell, NM from 1901-1910.
He died at the NM State Hospital and is buried in the
hospital cemetery.
