Nola Carlton Hackett, 73, of 1916 South Moniteau, died Monday morning at Bothwell Hospital She was born Dec. ll, 1909, in Fisk, Mo., daughter of John H and Mary Bertha Justice Parks. On Sept. 6, 1956, she was married to Merle Ellis Hackett, who proceeded her in death. Mrs. Hackett moved to Sedalia in 1939 where she was employed by Montgomery Ward until her retirement. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church Survivors include two sons, Charles E Walton. Mt. Vernon, DL; Larry R Mopps, Toledo, Ohio; one daughter, Vivian Wissman, 318 West 20th; three brothers, Joe Parks. Sedalia; Irmel Parks. Fisk; Loren Parks, St. Louis; one sister, Audra Rasor. Fisk; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Ewing Funeral Home with the Rev. .Norman Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
